THAILAND

“Thailand, also known as the land of smiles, is one of the most visited countries in the world and has been a popular tourist destination for decades. Thanks to its white-sand beaches, delicious cuisine and year round tropical weather, it attracts around 22 million visitors each year to the mainland and the 1430 Thai islands.

So Thailand is definitely not an off the beaten path destination, but therefore it has many well developed tourism facilities and a great infrastructure with an easy transport system. There is a lot of diversity to explore in Thailand. The Thai islands are the tropical paradise dream with perfect white beaches, overhanging palm trees and turquoise blue, calm water. The inland of Thailand on the other hand consists of beautiful National Parks with lush mountains combined with the rural life and a beautiful authentic culture.

Many foreigners come to Thailand to explore the beauty of the country, and decide sooner or later to settle down in this tropical paradise. Many people live during their retirement in Thailand, but also the younger generation fell in love with everything that Thailand has to offer. It became one of the most popular spots for Digital Nomads to settle for a while. Especially Chiang Mai, but also Phuket, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui are places in Thailand where Digital Nomads find their community. With everything that the country has to offer; the amazing nature, its paradise beaches, yummy food, friendly local people and great healthcare system, Thailand is a country where you will feel at home.”
